In Alto's Adventure, a 2D endless runner, you play with Alto and his companions as they attempt to snowboard down the Alps' challenging slopes. You must overcome the mountain's shifting weather conditions and the passage of time while rescuing llamas that have gotten loose, grinding rooftops, leaping over scary chasms, and outwitting the mountain elders. Travel across the stunning high hills of their natural habitat, passing nearby towns, centuries-old forests, and deserted ruin sites. But once you get Sumara, he’s less rewarding.Come along with Alto and his buddies as they set out on a never-ending snowboarding adventure. And it’s hilarious to watch him wingsuit. He’s not as fast as Izel or Sumara, so you have greater margin of error. He’s got the double-jump, so you never have to worry about him falling in canyons or crashing. Felipe is actually a strategically useful player for the “go very long distance” goals. (Especially as the lemurs get faster later on.) Paz’s flips are infuriatingly slow, which makes it hard for him to get speed boosts, which means the lemur chasing quickly gets tiresome. Apart from needing him to finish level 60, I didn’t use him after getting Maya. However, having mastered the other characters, I find her much more boring (except, perhaps, for the dangerous but high-point “proximity flip” trick). After I unlocked all the levels, I got bored with every other character.Ī lot of people like Maya, because she’s the literal opposite of Izel: she’s slow (so easy to manage, apart from falling into a canyon) and flips quickly. However, once you master her skills, it’s consistently thrilling. However, her flip speed is relatively slow, so between moving very fast and having to carefully time her flips she takes the most practice and careful timing odds are you will crash more often with her than any other character. Once you get the speed boost, she literally flies down hills and reaches ridiculous height in the air. Izel (level 31) is by far the fastest character, and has the most powerful wingsuit. This also means you can stack many tricks and get ridiculous combo scores. The principal downside to her is that she’s too “easy.” You don’t have to stay away from the lemurs, double-jumps and tight flips mean you have a lot more margin for error.
